This is how we are counting down to Christmas in the Fisher- Hoyrem household:
My mum made this calendar for me and my siblings about 25 years ago now.
Lot's of different things have been hanging on this tree -presents, sweets, encouraging notes, daily activities... This year rather than "emptying" the tree we are hanging on an ornament for each day.
